Post Formed Counters (Roll
Tops)
Advantages: Affordable
Disadvantages: End caps, seams, sink has to
be top mounted and cannot do special shapes.
Cost: Approx $600 per kitchen
Notes: The industry standard, used in 90% of the kitchens today. It is very hard to
create custom designs using this type of counter. |

Granite counters
Advantages: Hi-quality, sinks are Under Mounted, any shape
Disadvantages: Must have seams & is costly
Cost: Approx $6000 to $7000 per kitchen
Notes: Hi-end look, islands can be done seamless. |

Solid
Surface (Corian,
Topstone, Surrel, Wisonart-SSV)
Advantages: No seams, sinks are Under Mounted, any
shape
Disadvantages: Requires fair amount of
maintenance
& is costly
Cost: Approx $6,000 to $9000 per kitchen
(slightly less for white)
Notes: Hi-end design, for $9000+ you can have very
intricate
designs & color. |

Disadvantages:
Only available at Avondale on Avondale Cabinets.
Cost:
Same cost as post formed counter $600.
(counter replacements approx: $1900)
Notes:
This counter system has been a resounding success
with Avondale’s customers. Just ask them. Avondale designs counters
with Under Mounted sinks that are affordable. They are very easy to maintain on a day to day basis.
